Luca Patan\u00e8<\/h4>

PRESIDENT<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]Luca Patan\u00e8 is the President of Uvet | American Express Global Business Travel<\/b> and of the Uvet Group, a leader in providing innovative products and solutions for business trips and mobility. Luca Patan\u00e8 joined Uvet in 1989, working in high-level positions. When his father, the founder of the agency, died, Patan\u00e8 became Head of Sales, then CEO in 1995, and finally President.<\/p>\n

In 2001 Luca Patan\u00e8 sealed the most important agreement in Italy in the sector of corporate travel: in a joint venture with American Express, he created Uvet American Express \u2013 today Uvet | Amex GBT<\/b>, that became the most important provider of business travel services in the Italian market, with a presence in France, Switzerland, Romania, and northern European markets as well after the acquisition of an important Swedish OTA.<\/p>\n

In 2016 Luca Patan\u00e8 was named Cavaliere del Lavoro (Knight of Labour) by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, upon proposal by the Minister of Economic Development, Carlo Calenda.<\/p>\n

Luca Patan\u00e8 is also the Presidente of Atlante Foundation, a non-profit association committed to charitable initiatives that focus on safeguarding cultural heritage.<\/p>\n

Enrico Ruffilli<\/h4>

CEO<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t[\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]Born in Milan in 1961, he earned a degree in Political Science with a focus on statistics. In 1988 he joined BNL, overseeing the promotion of insurance and financial products.<\/p>\n

In 1991 he became the Head of the marketing and membership analysis office at Arnoldo Mondadori Editore. In 1996 he joined Uvet Viaggi Turismo as the sales and marketing Director.<\/p>\n

Since 2000 he has held the role of CEO for Uvet Viaggi Turismo while, since January 2002, he has been CEO of Uvet American Express.
